Why This Matters

A word from our church family

Dear friends and family, for years our small church family has gathered in Warren, Michigan to worship, pray, and serve our community. We have helped people with housing emergencies, food, gas, utilities, and rides to work. From the beginning we have done this work on faith — and step by step, God has provided.

We are now in the final stretch of becoming a fully recognized nonprofit ministry. About $800 remains on our StartChurch setup balance, and after that a $600 IRS filing fee completes our 501(c)(3) application. Our goal is to have both paid in full by December.

Every gift — large or small — moves us closer. When this is done, Transfigured Church will stand on a firm foundation for the ministry ahead: the lives we will touch, the families we will serve, and the community we will keep building together.

A note in love: our 501(c)(3) status is not yet complete, so we can’t describe your gift as tax-deductible. We share this plainly, because honesty is what family does.
